Does anyone else suffer from that WHOA feeling when you realise how quickly the year is going? Honestly, it always used to bug me when people complained how quickly the years were going, but now I'm one of those people who seem shocked that time goes by so swiftly. Why oh why couldn't it have moved so swiftly when I was at school?

Ah well.

Not much has been happening onthe fanfiction scene because real life has dared to pop my happy bubble and forced me to remain in reality for a while. This eats into the precious time I have to devote to fanfiction which is a constant source of frustration. Oh well, there are more important things in life to be concerned about. I don't mean to upset anyone with the following news and certainly am not looking for sympathy...but if you're having a rough day, consider the following:

> A friend in the prime of his life passes away from melanoma (skin cancer) a week after turning 27
> A gentle, caring friend gives birth to her full-term baby knowing he'll be stillborn

Just like one person can be the most important person in the world to someone, everyone's troubles are important to them...but see the little annoyances in life for what they are.
